The Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP) is a voluntary program that provides lower property taxes to participating land owners who agree to actively manage their forests.

A management plan must be prepared for your property.You can manage your forest for timber value, recreational oppourtunities or wildlife habitats etc.
